We set out for an ambitious outdoor sunset live video shoot of a few songs with Munirih Sparrow the other day. It went AMAZING, and while I knew we were in for some stunning visuals, I am most blown away by the quality of the sound we captured. Outdoors, top of a mountain, several cars and happy go lucky (noisy) co-visitors to the park, plus wind… not the ideal scenario for capturing live audio when it is an acoustic guitar and vocals. I won’t geek out about the gear we used and blather on about the tech side (at least not in this post), and will instead share some stills we captured between takes and while shooting B-roll for the video.
