Images from the Blessing Ceremony and public opening of Phase II of the Na’Tsa’maht – Unity Wall – at Ogden Point. Chief Robert Sam (Songhees Nation), Chief Andy Thomas (Esquimalt) and GVHA representatives addressed the gathering that witnessed a traditional Coast Salish blessing of the wall, unveiling of the interpretive panel, and appreciations presented to design artists Butch Dick, Darlene Gait, and the youth team that painted the mural. My coverage wasn’t super comprehensive as I was part of the program. Good times!
